UFOS Customer Balance Update

This module will take the existing balances, in outside accounting software, like QuickBooks Pro, and brings it back to the outstanding AR balances in UFOS. It will compare the Credit Limit, and the WIP to trigger and Supervisor override should the customer go past the posted CL.

UFOS Web Order Entry

Your clients can be given a log in and password, by you, to allow them to enter orders on a web application and these orders will automatically populate your UFOS software as an open order.

UFOS “Request a Quote” Module

Prospective new clients visiting your web page can request a quote based on an origin and destination    along with pieces and weight. The request is emailed to the contact with in your company.

UFOS Container Tracking Module

This module is primarily used by trucking companies that do chassis work for freight forwards. It allows   them to track containers with all the related information in one location.

UFOS Auto Email Status Report

If you are doing Container work, this feature will send an email with the status of all the clients’ containers every night.

UFOS Rate Import Module

UFOS can import rates both for inbound and outbound shipments. Rates can be on any unit of     measurement, such as skid, pallet or lineal foot, or per CWT. The tool can import hundreds of lines of rates. These rates can be imported for both customers and carriers.

UFOS Customer, Carrier, Shipper Consignee Import Module.

We can import lists of any of the above noted data bases from a previous software program as long as they are in a common format. This is usually done before the software is used for the first time.

UFOS PDF Mailer (per PC)

The PDF mailer will allow you to convert any document in UFOS to a PDF file format. You then can attach the PDF document to an email and send it out. We use this format as PDF reader is free for anyone to use.

UFOS CUDP Module

The Carrier Up Date Portal is a tool used to have carrier’s update an email as to the status of a work order. Has the order been picked up or delivered, when the carrier, upon clicking on a link, updates the Status of the order it will come back an automatically update the order in UFOS. This cuts down the need for staff to keep calling carriers to get updates.

UFOS Inquiry Module

This is track and trace for UFOS. Clients are given a user name and password and can logon to a web site and see the status of all their shipments. If there are tracking notes that you want the client to see these too can be added and the client can see these notes.

UFOS Document Image Management System (DIMs)

DIMs is used so a UFOS user can scan and save files against a work order, such as a POD, and electronically save files to customers, shippers, consignees and carriers. This is a great tool when invoicing a client, it will automatically marry invoices with the POD if that is what has been specified in the customer profile. When carriers send all their paperwork, it can be stored against the carrier and if the expired insurance reminder comes up for the carrier, no need to run to a filing cabinet, just open the DOCs and all the information is there.

UFOS Business Alerts

Owners can choose to receive an email every Friday night detailing to them the activity of the      company. The alert will tell them how many orders have been processed what the sell and cost were and where the company expects to be at the end of the month based on the pattern of business.

UFOS EDI

Electronic Data Interchange is fully enabled within UFOS. There are different packages to utilize this feature and it can be used both for the UFOS TMS and UFOS WMS. Pricing is based on which documents your client is asking for.

Invoicing

This is for the In/Out and first month of storage upon receipt. Automated re-occurring storage can all be invoice at the end of the month for all clients.  

Warehouse Transfers

You can transfer inventory between locations in a warehouse or you can transfer between warehouses   noted on the Warehouse list.

Detailed Inventory Movement Reports

All transactions are captured by UFOS WMS. Think of it as record keeping of your bank account. Everything that came in is captured as well as everything that went out.

Lot/Serial Enabled

Inventory can be profiled to force the user to enter Lot/Serial as well as expiry.

Custom Label Generator

You can decide on what information you want to appear on a label. You can also generate custom labels specific to a customer, both for receiving and shipping.

UFOS Accounting Interface

We are currently interfaced to approximately 35 different accounting software systems. UFOS posts from itself to each of these systems.

UFOS Bar Code Scanning – Receipts & Shipments.

You can use either standard bar coding or the newer QR Code. UFOS also utilizes a single label receiving and shipping process, the user is prompted if the receipt is an “off load shipment”. If it is an off-load receipt, the user will enter it the goods on a receipt in UFOS, generate the proper labels, apply the labels to the various shipment types, skids etc., and scan the label at the dock, move to the rack location (bin location) scan the location and the goods are in inventory. When a shipment is required, the user creates the whole shipment and merely tells the warehouse personal which order is going to be picked for shipping and the user enters the shipment number on their hand held and all goods, locations, Lot/Serial #s will appear on the hand-held screen. As long as the user goes to the location and scans the right goods out it will confirm they are correct. Any miss scans will warn the user.

UFOS Bin Locations Import Module

If there is existing inventory in the warehouse this module must be used to perform the two-step process to enter existing placed inventory in to UFOS WMS. We first export the inventory to a common    format. The next step is to confirm and clean up the existing inventory. Then the bin locations are imported into the UFOS WMS followed by the inventory.

UFOS E-fulfilment

This module allows the company to perform e-fulfilment. Mixed inventory owned by different companies to be used to create a shipment.

UFOS Opening Inventory Import.

The second step after the Bin locations have been imported.

UFOS API

The API (Application Programming Interface) is used if both the UFSO WMS and UFOS TMS are being used. The API will, when prompted, create a work order for shipping the UFOS WMS to the TMS.

UFOS Web Inventory Query

This is track and trace for WMS. Clients are given a user name and password and can logon to a web site and see their entire inventory included committed shipments. Customers can download inventory reports as well as transaction reports.

UFOS Document Image Management System (DIMs)

DIMs is so a UFOS user can scan and save files against a receipt or shipment, such as a packing slip, and electronically store these files. This is particularly beneficial if original packing slips differ with the actual good received. Both documents can be sent to the customer to ensure their records are the same as yours.
